Ethics in Science and Environmental Politics (ESEP)
Letters and Discussions
With great regret, we have to give notice that after nearly 17 years, the EEIU is ceasing its activities. Inter-Research, the science publisher that has financially sustained the EEIU since its inception, is concentrating its resources on core activities and is no longer in a position to continue supporting the EEIU administration. Over the next month or so, the EEIU website will be closed down, support for chapters will be discontinued, and the constitution will be dissolved.
We'd like to thank all our members and supporters for their participation and commendable efforts to lead and teach their communities about eco-ethics principles. We sincerely hope that their work in this arena will continue from outside the EEIU umbrella.

a new concept of ethics: eco-ethics
Founded on scientifically verified ecological knowledge and represented by the Eco-Ethics International Union (EEIU), the concept of eco-ethics is spreading around the globe. Currently operating in over 80 countries, the Union is attracting growing numbers of affiliates.
More and more people realise that humankind proceeds in dangerous, potentially even lethal, directions. The EEIU attempts to assist in correcting the course, to build a new house for humanity and to secure the future of our species and its ecological support systems.
