It woks with enterprenuers, lawyers, environmentalists and researchers around the world to provide assistance to Kenyan communities in facing developmental challenges. The organization draws upon volunteers and supporters who are enthusiastic about our agenda and wish to take part in our movement. The main purpose of this organization is to provide Natural Resource and Social Science students with professional opportunities through community projects, tours for children, seminars, social events, and much more.
All members of Project Nabuur Capital (herein operating as EEIU Nabuur) accept responsibility for protecting and enhancing the natural and cultural environment of the areas in which they reside/operate. They undertake to implement sound environmental practices in all their activities, the properties they manage and/or promote, the destinations they manage and the natural areas they visit. All this is done in collaboration with the communities and organisations they are part of. Overall, we seek:
Program Areas: EEIU Nabuur focuses on developing workable understanding of the eco-ethics concept while stimulating interactive thesis that is full of productivity and growth. We invest in forums and practices that provide clear public benefit, and address ecological barriers that prevent adequate private sector participation Project Nabuur Capital has built a diverse and complimentary set of services that transform lives and strengthen the capacity of communities and institutions to address pressing global needs. Through its six core program areas the chapter awakens people to global issues and prepares individuals, communities, and institutions worldwide to be effective leaders of change towards eco-ethics. Projects are carried out by staff and selected volunteers from universities, national laboratories, and the private sector. See our projects above for more details. Regional Cooperation: Project Nabuur Capital has developed cooperation with the Morogoro Chapter . Together we remain united within the Institute for African Ecology and Philosophy and operate under the same banner of EEIU East Africa. While in itself as the regional center, the Nabuur Chapter has offices in Kampala, Arusha, Kisii, Bondo and Nairobi. All these offices are as a result of partnership arrangements that vary from ecotourism to radioecology. The recent progress is the establishment of the Center for Commerce, Energy and Environment.
