EEIU Malaysia / Kajang Reports & Letters
Report, 16 February 2004 (Chair Tulasidass Subramaniam, M.A.) EEIU Malaysia/Kajang is now preparing the necessary application forms and documents for official registration with the Malaysian government. The Chapter will be officially registered with the Registrar of Associations, Malaysia. This is important for carrying out EEIU activities in this region such as beginning to collect grants or donations for the development of our establishment. The 5th EEIU Malaysia/Kajang Executive Meeting will be held on the 27th of February, 2004, at 10.00 AM in the EEIU Malaysia/Kajang office.
From: Chair Tulasidass Subramaniam, M.A. RE: Official launching of Malaysia/Kajang on 14 February 2004 It is a pleasure to inform you of our preparations for launching EEIU Malaysia/Kajang, to be officially conducted by Dr. B. R. Anthony Samy, PhD, Director of the Malaysian Indian Culture, Development and Education Foundation and EEIU Malaysia/Kajang Advisor on 14 February 2004 in the EEIU Malaysia/Kajang office at 9:00 AM. We will fax an official invitation to EEIU HQ soon. Lots of excitement is all around us. Yesterday we received a parcel from EEIU HQ (80 copies of English brochures) in safety. We appreciate and thank you for your support. I will send you my final draft for Chapter in Brief, Areas of Emphasis, Malay / Indonesian Language Query (please take note I am communicating with the Chair of EEIU North Sumatra/Indonesia, Mr. Sinaga Firman, regarding this matter for more information and advice), brochure translations of Malay and Tamil languages and an official EEIU Malaysia/Kajang Proton Committee 2004/2005 list. I would be highly grateful if you could send us a "Blessing and Congratulations" letter from EEIU President Prof. Dr. Otto Kinne for the launching of EEIU Malaysia/Kajang, to deliver the message to our members. With much hope and aspiration I am looking forward to hearing from you in the near future. Thank you. With regards,
Tulasidass Subramaniam, M.A. ---- Response, 03 February 2004 Dear Mr. Subramaniam, Many thanks for your email of 2 February. I'm glad to hear that the brochures arrived safely, and that progress is being made in the establishment of the new Malaysian Chapter — this is great news! I have forwarded your comments to Prof. Kinne, who is not in the country at this time, regarding your official launching next week. I wish you much success in this event and the related work, and look forward to hearing the details of your progress. All the best, Mary Batson
