MAJOR PROJECTS TO REFLECT UPON
- Statistical survey of environment (pollutants/polluters; locations of polluters), report to Minister
- Creation of environment newspaper
- Re-enforce links with local councils
- Establish a documentary on the environment
- Set up questionnaires to monitor the population's acceptance of eco-theses (at time-intervals)
- Collaborate more with university labs for research; encourage students to select theses related to CAM OC Council's agenda
- Advise the Ministry of Environment to enforce catalytic oxidizers in cars (in collaboration with Ministry of Transport)
- The CAM OC will accept tenders for collaboration with any foreign or indigenous organ interested in establishing an eco-cooperative savings and loan with the Club in Cameroon. This would be the first in Cameroon to promote investments that are ecologically friendly. These are propositions that could one day mature.
